Weekly Tarot Forecast: Five Of Pentacles
Forecast for 8 August - 14 August 2022
Post and Photo by Benjamin Blak
This week, the Five of Pentacles presents itself to us; a card of loss, lack and isolation. This card indicates that this week we may experience some struggle. We may be feeling like we have been left out in the cold, and that moving through the week ahead is a challenge. They energy of the Five of Pentacles calls for us to look at the ways in which this energy manifests in our lives. Even though this card has negative connotations, it also comes with a message of hope.
In the card shown, we can see two people are in the snow and have fallen on hard times, yet the lights on the church are illuminated behind them - this is a reminder to reach out for help when we need it! When we find ourselves battling external disturbances, it can throw us into the dark space of isolation; the struggle can cause us to become insular, to feel like we are going at it alone, and that no one can help us. It can be hard in those moments to remember the people in our lives that are there to help, and even harder to ask them for it.
Finding Strength in the Struggle
This week, be mindful of the situations that present themselves to you and how you respond to them. While external disturbances are out of our control, how we process them and handle them lie firmly within our power (even if at times it does not feel that way). Sometimes, things in life can happen and it can leave us wondering “why?” The lessons or the reason behind the challenge is not immediately clear and it can feel like we are constantly battling adversity and things beyond our control.
The Five of Pentacles brings with it instability, which is always uncomfortable, but so much growth happens in our times of struggle. Without struggle, we cannot grow. We may not understand why certain things are happening, but so much resilience and perseverance is born out of our most uncomfortable moments in life. This week, remember to reach out for help when you are struggling, and know that this too shall pass. Any discomfort you currently feel will eventually be over, and the wisdom you learn through that experience is setting you up for your next chapter - one where you have more strength than you did before.
Wishing you the most magical week,
