If you’re a fan of Pumpkin Spice Lattes, I’m excited to teach you a Pumpkin Spice Coffee Spell - a magick potion that you can whip up just about anywhere.
Pumpkins are a vegetable that is plentiful (and indigenous) in the United States. Because a pumpkin could last for an entire season (September to December), they became a staple of our ancestors’ diets through long winters. Pumpkins can be cooked in a variety of dishes, from soups to salad, although many folks enjoy pumpkin pie the most!
So Starbucks struck gold when they decided to create a drink which was basically pumpkin pie-flavored coffee. In addition to pumpkin sauce, they added the same spices used to make pumpkin pie: cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and clove.
Magickal Properties of Pumpkin Spice
For many people, that’s the end of the story, but for magickal people like ourselves, it’s just the beginning!
Turns out that Pumpkin Spice Lattes (and the other popular pumpkin spice drinks) are abundance spells just waiting for you to perform!
Let’s investigate the magickal properties of the ingredients:
Pumpkin: wish fulfillment, fertility, love, and protection
Cinnamon: attraction, lust, success, money; heats up a situation
Ginger: healing, beauty, lust, courage; heats up a situation
Nutmeg: luck, money, protection
Clove: luck, healing, determination, courage, protection
And let’s not skip over the other obvious ingredients:
Coffee: Mental clarity, speeds up a situation
Milk: Blessings, health, and abundance
Sugar: Drawing love, sweetening a situation, attracting customers to a business

If you think about it, a Pumpkin Spice Latte is a “Spell in a Cup”!
So the next time you pick up a PSL from your favorite coffee shop, try this spell:
Step #1: Order your favorite pumpkin spice coffee drink.
Step #2: When you receive your cup, make sure that your name is on it. You can also draw a favorite sigil on the cup as well.
Step #3: Hold the cup in your hand. Ground yourself by taking a nice whiff of the yummy spices.
Step #4: Activate the spirits of the spices by expressing gratitude for the qualities that you are seeking:
“Pumpkin, thank you for helping me with today’s interview. Coffee, thank you for granting me mental clarity. Milk, thank you for this opportunity. Cinnamon, grant me success with providing insightful answers. Ginger, I am grateful for your help with quick thinking. Nutmeg, thank you for helping me find a parking spot close to the office. And so it is!”
Step #5: Visualize your desired outcome, and proceed to drink your coffee!
